UPDATE 6/20/26: How fitting that the ugliest new building on the planet just officially opened its doors to the public with great pomp and ceremony to honor the legacy of the most subversively destructive American figure of our lifetimes. Cheated LA Mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt might have included this visual nightmare in decrying the “slop vomit” “brutalist” bits of “commie” architecture cursing the LA skyline.
Unintentionally above the dull din of tired tributes and questionable tears of gratitude at the star-studded opening were some very inconvenient screams of rage from unpaid Black Chicago contractors stiffed for million$ by the Obama Foundation for work done on this aesthetic atrocity.
And then there’s the Foundation defaulting on promised maintenance of this Windy City “slop vomit,” passing hundreds of million$ along to the taxpayers. And that’s not all! The frosting on this very un-tasty cake comes from the unsurpassable Mrs. O, Michelle-Antoinette herself, that permanently aggrieved gasbag of complaint. Like Hillary, she married a talented, charismatic man through whom the whole world was handed her, but it just hasn’t been enough. Asked on this august occasion honoring the grand Obama legacy, what’s next? Barack: “Fun!” And Michelle?…….But of course.
But at least, Barack Svengalia Valerie Jarrett took the occasion to offer the ritual acknowledgment of those supposed original (and rightful!)
